Around Al Ain

We drive by a very elaborate palace/villa/house every day going to school.  It looks like an airport with a bit of Miami thrown in, no offense to Miami where I have never set foot.  It has fake palm trees built into its outer walls.  No restraint.  And it's huge.

This is our house again.  A bit more modest than the above!  Actually, that's not our actual house, but it is like it.

Evening traffic with the sun going down.

This is a fancy cafe, Shakespeare and Co., in Al Ain Mall.

This is Henry walking in Bawadi Mall, just to give you a flavor of the place.  This doesn't really show how busy it was on a Friday night.

and this is outside the Mall.  It's now 84F in the mornings, so it is getting cooler.

Turkish coffee - that's for you, Dad.  Very nice.
